Abstract:

“ABSTRAK Tujuan penulisan jurnal ilmiah ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman mengenai bentuk pertanggungjawaban pelaku usaha terhadap konsumen pengguma eyelash extension yang dirugikan dan upaya penyelesaian terhadap kerugian konsumen sebagai pengguna eyelash extension. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penulisan jurnal ilmiah ini yaitu metode penelitian hukum empiris. Perlindungan terhadap konsumen telah diatur dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 1999 Tentang Perlindungan Konsumen, yang dalam penulisan ini akan membahas mengenai bentuk perlindungan hukum bagi konsumen eyelash extension yang dirugikan dan tanggung jawab pelaku usaha eyelash extension. Tertuang dalam “pasal 4 Undang-Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 1999 yang mengatur tentang hak konsumen serta dalam pasal 7 Undang-Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 1999 yang mengatur tentang kewajiban pelaku usaha”, namun perlindungan hukum bagi konsumen yang mengalami kerugian akibat jasa eyelash extension saat ini masih belum maksimal karena masih banyak yang melakukan pelanggaran yang dilakukan oleh pelaku usaha dalam hal ini eyelash extension. Walaupun tidak semua pelaku usaha eyelash extension menyebabkan kerugian pada konsumen, namun masih ada yang tidak melaksanakan kewajibannya sehingga menimbulkan kerugian pada konsumen. Pelaksanaan tanggung jawab pelaku usaha jasa pemasangan eyelash extension terhadap konsumen yang dirugikan dikarenakan beberapa faktor mewajibkan pelaku usaha bertanggung jawab memberikan ganti rugi serta tidak mengulanginya lagi. The research method used in this journal is empirical legal. Legal protection for consumers has been stated in Law No. 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection, which in this jornal will discuss the form of legal protection for consumers of eyelash extension who are harmed and the responsibility of eyelash extension business actors. Although it has been stated in “Article 4 of Law Number 8 of 1999 which regulates consumer rights and in Article 7 of Law Number 8 of 1999 which regulates the obligations of business actors”, but legal protection for consumers who experience losses due to eyelash extension services is currently not optimal because there are still many who commit violations committed by business actors, in this case eyelash extension. Although not all eyelash extension business actors cause harm to consumers, there are still some who do not carry out their obligations, causing losses to consumers. The implementation of the responsibility of eyelash extension service business actors towards consumers who suffer losses due to several factors obliging the eyelash extension business actors to be responsible for providing compensation and not repeating it.
