Abstract:

“ABSTRAK Penulisan ini memiliki tujuan guna memberikan pemahaman serta pengetahuan mengenai perlindungan konsumen terkait produk kosmetik perawatan wajah tak ber BPOM yang merugikan konsumen serta tanggungjawab seperti apa yang ditujukkan kepada pelaku usaha terkait dengan kerugian yang dialami oleh konsumen tersebut. Metode penulisan yang digunakan untuk penulisan ini yakni metode hukum normatif dan menggunakan pendekatan perundang-undangan. Hasilnya yakni bahwa perlindungan terhadap konsumen terkait dengan produk skincare tak ber BPOM yang merugikan konsumen ini diatur pada UUPK No. 8/1999, yang kemudian juga diatur pada KUHPERDATA. Kemudian, tanggungjawab pelaku usaha terkait dengan kerugian yang dirasakan konsumen tersebut adalah berupa ganti rugi yang mana hal ini pun diatur pada UUPK No.8/1999. The method that the author uses for this research is the normative legal method and the approach that the author uses is the statute approach. The results are the customer’s protection about non BPOM skincare cosmetic products are being regulated in Law No. 8/1999 and also regulated in the Code of Civil law. Then, the business owner’s responsibility related to the harmful effect is that the compensation like this is being regulated in Law No.8/1999.
