GAMBARAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN FAKTOR RISIKO DIABETES MELITUS PADA POLISI DI POLDA BALI TAHUN 2016

Abstract:
“ABSTRAK Diabetes melitus (DM) sudah semakin banyak ditemui. Oleh karena itu, penting bagimasyarakat untuk memiliki pengetahuan mengenai DM, terutama faktor risikonya sehingga dapatdicegah lebih dini. Prevalensi DM diprediksi akan meningkat pada tahun 2030 menjadi 21,3 juta dari8,4 juta pada tahun 2000 di Indonesia. Proporsi penyebab kematian akibat DM di Indonesia padakelompok usia 45-54 tahun daerah perkotaan mendapat peringkat ke-2 yaitu sebesar 14,7%, dan yangterjadi pada daerah luar perkotaan menduduki peringkat ke-6 dengan persentase sebesar 5,8%.Kejadian DM pada populasi polisi sebesar 37%, sehingga penelitian ini ditujukkan untuk mengetahuitingkat pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai DM, yang dikhususkan pada pengetahuan mengenai faktorrisiko DM pada polisi. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah cross-sectional. Penelitiandilakukan di Rumah Sakit Trijata selama satu bulan, mulai dari Oktober 2016 hingga November 2016.Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan dari56 responden, mayoritas berusia 20-44 tahun (n=46 atau 80,7%), dengan tingkat pengetahuan yangrendah sebanyak 24 orang (42,86%) dan tingkat pengetahuan tinggi sebanyak 32 responden (57,14%).Dapat disimpulkan bahwa sebagian besar responden telah memiliki pengetahuan yang tinggi tentangfaktor risiko DM. The results, respondents with low education levelwas 24 people (42.86%), while the respondents with high education level was 32 people (57.14%).Our conclusion is the majority of respondents already had a high knowledge level about DM riskfactors.
