Abstract:

“Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan menganalisis tujuan dari psikometri tes pada narapidana anak di LPKA Kelas II Lombok Tengah. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian hukum empiris. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagai bentuk upaya untuk mencegah terjadinya residivis atau pengulangan tindak pidana yang dilakukan oleh narapidana anak, maka LPKA Kelas II Lombok Tengah melakukan berbagai macam upaya salah satunya dengan mengadakan psikometri tes yang bekerjasama dengan Rumah Sakit Jiwa Mutiara Sukma Nusa Tenggara. Adapun tujuan dari penerapan psikometri tes pada narapidana pidana anak yang diantaranya adalah untuk mengetahui karakter narapidana anak, apakah anak tersebut dapat berpotensi sebagai redisivis atau tidak; Untuk menyesuaikan jenis pembinaan yang diperlukan baginya selama berada pada lembaga pemasyarakatan; dan sebagai sarana pengawasan bagi para pembina di LPKA Kelas II Lombok Tengah kepada narapidana anak yang berpotensi sebagai residivis. This study aims to analyze the purpose of the psychometric test on child prisoners at Class II LPKA in Central Lombok. The type of research used is empirical legal research. The results of this study indicate that as a form of effort to prevent recidivism or repetition of crimes committed by child convicts, Class II LPKA Central Lombok has made various efforts, one of which is by holding psychometric tests in collaboration with Mutiara Sukma Mental Hospital, Nusa Tenggara. The purpose of applying psychometric tests to child criminal prisoners is to find out the character of child prisoners, whether the child has the potential to become a redisgrapher or not; To adjust the type of coaching needed for him while in a correctional institution; and as a means of supervision for coaches at Class II LPKA Central Lombok to child prisoners who have the potential to become recidivists.”
