Abstract:
“Adanya Iklan menjadi media informasi juga dapat menyebabkan permasalahan terkait informasinya yang terkadang tidak berbanding dengan apa yang di promosikan dan cendrung menyesatkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni agar dapat mengetahui perlindungan hukum konsumen terkait dengan tayangan iklan yang menyesatkan. Metode penelitian ini yuridis normatif. Adapun hasil dalam penelitian ini yaitu terdapat dua macam Perlindungan hukum terhadap konsumen atas iklan yang menyesatkan yang pertama Perlindungan hukum konsumen bersifat preventif dimana dilakukan melalui regulasi dengan cara memberikan aturan hukum yang menjamin kepastian hukum sehingga konsumen dapat menerima perlindungan hukum terhadap konsumen baik dari pihak pemerintah atau lembaga perlindungan konsumen swadaya masyarakat serta yang kedua Perlindungan hukum Konsumen bersifat represif, yaitu suatu perlindungan hukum yang diberikan kepada konsumen apabila terjadi sengketa antara pelaku usaha dan juga konsumen sebagai akibat adanya gugatan dari konsumen yang dimana dalam hal ini merasa dirugikan. Kata Kunci: Perlindungan Hukum, Konsumen, Iklan The existence of advertisements as a medium of information can also cause problems related to the information which is sometimes not compared to what is being promoted and tends to be misleading. The purpose of this research is to know the legal protection of consumers related to misleading advertising impressions. This research method is normative juridical. The results in this study are that there are two kinds of legal protection against consumers for misleading advertisements. First, consumer legal protection is preventive in nature which is carried out through regulation by providing legal rules that guarantee legal certainty so that consumers can receive legal protection against consumers both from the government or the government. non-governmental consumer protection institutions and secondly Consumer legal protection is repressive, namely a legal protection given to consumers in the event of a dispute between business actors and consumers as a result of a lawsuit from consumers who in this case feel aggrieved.
