Abstract:

“Tujuan Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan memahami bentuk tanggung jawab pihak pelaku usaha terhadap konsumen terkait transaksi jual beli online sesuai dengan perundang – undangan yang ada di negara Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian hukum normative. Hasil penelitian ini adalah tanggung jawab pelaku usaha terhadap konsumen dalam kegiatan transaksi jual beli online terhadap produknya. Adapun perlindungan hukum terhadap konsumen saat terjadinya aktivitas jual beli online yaitu diatur dalam Undang – Undang No. 11 Tahun 2008 jo Undang- Undang No. 19 Tahun 2016 tentang Informasi dan Tranksasi Elektronik dan juga diperkuat dengan Undang – Undang No. 8 Tahun 1999 tentang Perlindungan Konsumen. Kata Kunci: Tanggung Jawab, Perlindungan Konsumen, Jual beli online This study aims to find out and understand the forms of responsibility of business actors towards consumers related to online buying and selling transactions in accordance with existing laws in Indonesia. As for legal protection for consumers when online buying and selling activities occur, it is regulated in Law no. 11 of 2008 in conjunction with Law no. 19 of 2016 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions and also strengthened by Law no. 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection.
