Abstract:

“Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perlindungan hukum bagi konsumen yang membeli produk makanan ringan kemasan ulang serta tanggung jawab pelaku usaha yang memperdagangkan produk makanan ringan kemasan ulang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian hukum normatif. Hasil penulisan terkait perlindungan hukum bagi konsumen yang membeli produk makanan ringan kemasan ulang tidak diatur secara jelas dalam Undang-undang Perlindungan konsumen, sehingga menimbulkan norma kosong, namun apabila dilihat dari kerugian yang berdampak pada Kesehatan konsumen maka pelaku usaha melanggar Pasal 4 huruf a dan Pasal 7 huruf d Undang-undang Perlindungan Konsumen. selanjutnya mengenai pertanggungjawaban pelaku usaha yang menjual produk makanan ringan kemasan ulang berupa ganti rugi kepada konsumen sesuai dengan Pasal 19 Undang-Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 1999 tentang Perlindungan Konsumen. This writing uses normative legal research methods. The results of writing related to legal protection for consumers who buy repackaged snack products are not clearly regulated in the Consumer Protection Act, giving rise to empty norms, but when viewed from the losses that have an impact on consumer health, business actors violate Article 4 letter a and Article 7 letter d Consumer Protection Act. furthermore regarding the responsibility of businesses who sell repackaged snack products in the form of compensation to consumers in accordance with Article 19 of Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection.
