Abstract:

“Tempat Pengolahan Sampah Terpadu (TPST) 3R Werdhi Guna, Kabupaten Klungkung menghasilkan kuantitas sampah padat 1 ton per hari yang pengolahannya masih dilakukan melalui pembakaran. Hal tersebut menimbulkan asap yang berbahaya terhadap lingkungan sekitar. Merujuk pada hal tersebut, pemberdayaan masyarakat ini diadakan untuk mengedukasi Mitra dalam mengolah sampah organik menjadi briket sebagai sumber energi. Program pemberdayaan dilakukan dalam enam tahapan, yaitu: pelatihan kesehatan, keselamatan & keamanan kerja (K3) dan pemilahan sampah, pelatihan peuyeumisasi, pelatihan pencacahan sampah, pelatihan standardisasi sampah, pelatihan pembriketan sampah, dan pelatihan pengaplikasian briket pada kompor tradisional. Pre-test dan post-test dijadikan sebagai tolak ukur penguasaan teori pengolahan sampah, sedangkan penguasaan teknik secara fisik dibuktikan melalui produksi briket sampah organik yang dihasilkan melalui mesin briket. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah peningkatan nilai tes sebesar 70,5% dan produksi briket sebesar 150 kg dengan nilai kalor 4054,86 kal/gr.”
