Abstract:
“ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is how the fire disaster management planning in an effort to save the collection in the Perpustakaan Nasional RI using descriptive qualitative methods. Data sources in this study are primary data sources for interviews and secondary data sources for observation, documentation as well as from other sources such as books, journals and literature studies. Informants in this study were 4 (four) people who were the heads of the disaster preparedness team. Data analysis techniques used by the author are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusons. The results of this study indicate that the National Library of Indonesian has good building safety standards to prevent fire disaster which have fire protection equipment on each floor and have a disaster preparedness team. It aims to keep the entire collection in the National Library of Indonesia so that it remains safe. Keywords: Disaster Management Planning, Fire, Collection rescue”
