Abstract:
“ABSTRACT Performance Librarians Background As Teachers in the Processing of Library Collection in SMP Widya Suara Sukawati This research is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach. In the study described it matters relating to the performance teacher background librarian in processing the collection, involving 4 (four) teachers to work on the processing of the collections in the library of SMP Widya Suara Sukawati. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation and documentation. In this study the authors conducted with triangulation data processing, reduction, data presentation, and conclusion, while the technique of presenting data using formal presentation techniques and informal. Performance teacher background librarian in processing the collection will not run according to standards in general because librarians should really understand about the science library that included work on the processing of the library collection. Teachers only have educational background as a teacher rather than as a librarian in general. Sound library should SMP Widya Suara Sukawati seek expert librarians so that processing can be run according library collections in general. Key Words : Perfomance, Collection, Teacher”
